Link Testing Page

You can send someone to a specific time point on a video on your website by adding a parameter to the video URL. You will need to add "#t=[time in seconds]" to the end of the URL. For example, if your video URL is "http://www.yourwebsite.com/video.mp4" and you want to send someone to the 30 second mark of the video, you would change the URL to "http://www.yourwebsite.com/video.mp4#t=30". When someone clicks on the link, the video will start playing at the 30 second mark.So if I want to go to the poem Opportunity around 14 seconds where the narration is "and passing by hovel, and mart, and palace, soon or late...." I would use the url https://s.groovevideo.com/public/455756/Y2BTHWtBtQS1ajCVuIir/playlist.m3u8 plus #t=14

https://s.groovevideo.com/public/455756/Y2BTHWtBtQS1ajCVuIir/playlist.m3u8#t=14

This is the original link to Garth Brooks The Dance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYhnFvxTjok

Above was created by adding "?=1:31" manually It does not work because you have to convert minutes to seconds so 1 min and 31 seconds is 91 seconds

Manually created link adding 91 seconds

AND a period between youtu (and) be "youtu.be"

 https://youtu.be/iYhnFvxTjok?t=91

link

Below was created by copying directly from YT share function with time box checked

Here is the secret. Take the link you watched the video on at you tube

1 include the https://

2 delete the www and the period that follows it

3 add a period between "tu" and "be" in you tube

4 delete "watch?v="

5 include identifier(letters after "V="in original URL

6 Add "?t=(followed by the number of seconds)

7 You are done!
